Admission

Eligibility

At least 25% seats shall stand reserved to the candidates belonging to Himachal Pradesh. Children of H.P. State Govt. Employees/Central Govt. Employees Serving in Himachal/Employees of the autonomous bodies wholly or partially financed by the Himachal Pradesh Government and 12% seats shall stand reserved to the class-IV employees sponsored for training by the department of Animal Husbandry.

Application Form

• 1) Application from has been attached in the Prospectus at Appendix-I. This prospectus can be obtained from the office of swami Shri Vivekanand Veterinary Pharmacist Training Institute on payment of Rs. 500/- or Rs. 550/- post in the form of bank draft drawn in favor of Swami Shri Vivekanand Veterinary pharmacist Training Institute. The prospectus shall be dispatched by registered post/parcel. The Society/institute does not take the responsibility for any postal delays/loss. The cost of prospectus is not refundable in any case.
• 2) The Application from complete in all respects dully filled in by applicant in his/her own handwriting neatly and legibly with black/blue ball pen in block letters should be submitted/sent to The Principal Swami Shri Vivekanand Veterinary Pharmacist Training Institute and must reach the office of the society by the prescribed date. The name and the particulars of the candidate should be as per the matriculation certificate.
• 3) The incomplete applications and applications received after the prescribed date will not be entertained. A wrong or misleading entry in the forms will lead to rejection there of without assigning any reason.

Counseling

There will be counseling system for admission to the available seats in order of merit drawn category wise. The counseling will be held on the prescribed date as mentioned to above in the office of the society.

Medical Fitness Report

Medical fitness will be pre-condition for admission to the course. The selection shall be required to submit the Medical Fitness report at the time of admission.

Uniform/Dress

For Girl Students :

• I.) Light Pink (Shirt) and White Dupatta and Salwar.
• II.) Black Jersy/Sweater.

For Boy Students :

• I.) Shirt : White.
• II.) Trouser : Black.
• III.) Coat/Blazer : Black

Leave

• i.) No leave will be granted when examination is due.
• ii.) In all cases leave taken will be at the student’s own do far as the percentage of attendance is concerned is concerned even medical certificate will not condone a deficiency in attendance for a final examination. However, the attendance benefit for absence to the maximum prepaid of 20 calendar days in an academic year shall be admissible subject to prior permission of the management of the institute for participation on approved curricular activities (including games and sports) and hospitalization.

Hostel Facility

Hostel facility for girls is available and PG facilities for boys are available.
