Preamble
The Proposed syllabus for Veterinary Pharmacist Training Course is aimed at preparing human resource capable of handling livestock, maintenance of hospital and farm records well acquaint with various equipments being used in routine at hospitals and livestock farms and able to assist the doctor in treatment of livestock.

Identity Cards
A student/trainee admitted to the Course will be issued an Identity Card, it will be valid for the full duration of the course or till he/she leaves the studies before the completion of the course. The student must keep this card with him/her while in the institution.
Change in correspondence Address
If any student wants to change his address for correspondence given an application in the office giving us particulars of changed address written neatly in block letters for necessary corrections.
Medium of Instructions
The medium of instructions would be in English & Hindi and accordingly the study material will be made available to the students. The students can write their answers in examination either in English or in Hindi.
Ragging
Under the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India contained in its order dated 16-0-2007 in SLP O No. 24295/2004 ragging is completely prohibited. Any student/trainee found involved in ragging will be summarily expelled from the institution and legal proceedings un Criminal law shall be initiated against him/her. an affidavit has to be given by the students a his parents/local guardian that he/she will not indulge in ragging the time of his/her admission and thereafter during his/her tenure of complete Course. Suggestive Forms for such Affidavits are given at Appendix-VIII & IX.
Attendance
- i Minimum working days would be 240 in a academic year.
- ii) The Minimum requirement of attendance will be 75% for each course (separately in Theory and Practical) failing which the student will not be eligible to appear in the Annual Examination of that course.
- iii) every student is required to attend the classes punctually at the hours notified for lectures and practical classes. A student who is late may not be allowed to enter the class room.
- iv) If a student remains absent from the class for continuous 10 days, his name will be struck off from the roll. re-admission shall be allowed in such cases only once in a year. Re-admission fee will be Rs. 500/-
Class Room
- i) On the entry of the class room, students shall stand up band remain standing until they are directed to sit or till the teacher takes his seat. No student should leave the class room without the permission of the teacher or until the class is over.
- ii) Immediately after assembly of the class, the roll call will be called and absence of the students will be noted. Any student misbehaving in the class will be reported to the management to initiate disciplinary action against him/her.
- iii) The student will not be permitted to remain in the class room except of the prescribed hours of the class.
Examination
-
a) Annual Examination of each course shall be conducted by CSKHPKV, Palampur for each
course at the end of each Academic year and will carry weightage of 50% (Theory) and
20% (Practical) for paper-1, ii and iii while paper-iv shall comprise practical only with
weightage of 70% to be conducted by the university at the end of 2 nd year.

b) There will be internal semester wise evolution followed by external examination to
conducted by the university.
- c) There shall be four papers of 100 marks each during the course of study.

d) For internal examination, the instructors of the course will conduct theory as well
practical examinations internally for paper-I, ii&iii. The total weightage shall be 30%
(20% in theory and 10% in Practicals). For paper-iv (Practical Training). The total inter
weightage shall be 30% (Practical only).
- e) The duration of each theory paper during annual examination will be of three hours.
- f) The dates of annual theory and practical examination shall be fixed by the university.

g) Students will not be allowed to take into the examination hall text books, notes
manuscripts of any kind.

h) Any student found infringing the rules or having recourse to unfair means will expelled
from the examination hall.
